*Interesting to note... none of these three girls seem to actually appear in the movie.
Summary of the movie:
The film
(1991) has poor production qualities and the plot tends to go in too
many directions; music and look are heavily late 80's (aka, somewhat
cheesy).
That said...Jeff's character, Sharkey, is totally fascinating (and
carries the film on his shoulders).
Sharkey is a pimp, a clearly unstable young man with a traumatized
childhood - which doesn't justify his choice of lifestyle or job, but
gives it a deeper motivation than simple 'it's easy'.
Jeff plays Sharkey - as young and inexperienced as Jeff was at the time
- with just the right mix of broken, sudden vulnerability and the
callousness of the criminal. He is also very, very pretty and young and
has dark-lined tormented eyes and long, greasy hair in his face.
The story follows Micki and her younger brother Robby, as she works as a
prostitute for Sharkey and gets involved with the brutal night life of
LA. Sharkey doesn't want to let her go, and a trail of death and
destruction follows Miki until Sharkey finally finds her - as she's
hiding with fellow prostitutes - and is shot dead by her.
Which is of course the part of the
film that fanfiction denies.
Fact is, Sharkey is a complex, brutal and yet fascinating character,
with a darkness inside that's very inspiring. And JDM's looks. : )

Drabbles are tiny little stories, about 100 words long. Rated nc17 for sex. Only one so far, but hopefully we'll be able to add more drabbles later.
